STAIND's Aaron Lewis Calls LIMP BIZKIT's Wes Borland "Bougie Motherf*cker" In On-Stage Rant

This feud has a new wrinkle.

This feud has a new wrinkle.

You might recall that Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland and Staind's Aaron Lewis have some unresolved beef. It all stems from an awkward interaction at an airport last year.

Borland ran into Lewis and according to Borland, this was the back and forth:

ā€œHe goes ā€˜Where ya headed?ā€™ And I went ā€˜Iā€™m going home.ā€™ And he goes ā€˜Home?ā€™ and I went ā€˜Yeah I just visited my parents, Iā€™m going back home to L.A.ā€™. And for the record Iā€™ve lived in L.A. longer than any other city in my life. He goesā€¦Ā AaronĀ looks at me and he kind of turns his chin up and goes ā€˜Nah man, remember where you came from, Florida is your home, not L.A.. Thatā€™s home.ā€

ā€œAnd I just went ā€˜Fuck you man.ā€™ And I never talked to him again after that.ā€

Borland continued, calling Lewis, the writer of such hits as "It's Been A While" and "Mudshovel,"Ā  a "disgusting person."

It's been a few months, but Lewis finally responded to Borland's calling him out, while on stage in Las Vegas.Ā The PRPĀ reports Lewis said this:

ā€œIā€™m gonna sing this little ditty. I laid it down back in 1999. I donā€™t remember, but I do know that I walked into the dressing room ofĀ Limp Bizkit.

ā€œWes Borland, who I love dearly, who obviously has some fucking things to say about me. Fuck that motherfucker! I know that I started this with ā€˜I love him dearly,ā€™ because heā€™s part of the whole reason that Iā€™m standing here right now in front of you. And I find it really fucked up thatā€¦

ā€œThis is what happened, okay? This is how it happened. This is exactly how it happened. And I donā€™t know how the fuck he came up with what he came up with. But Iā€™m gonna tell you what happened.

ā€œI saw this motherfucking bougie motherfucker riding on a fucking golf cart in an airport to his gate. I ended up at a gate really close to him. I went up to him. I said, ā€˜Wes, whatā€™s up, brother? I miss you. I havenā€™t seen you in forever. How have you been?ā€™ Good,ā€™ this, that and the other thing. Iā€™m, like, ā€˜Where are you headed?ā€™ Heā€™s, like, ā€˜Iā€™m headed home ā€” to Los Angeles.ā€™ And Iā€™m, like, ā€˜Hey, motherfucker, that ainā€™t home. Remember ā€” youā€™re from Jacksonville, fucking Florida.ā€™ Thatā€™s how it went down.

ā€œHave you seen the interview? Have you heard the podcast? Thatā€™s how it went down.

ā€œBrother, donā€™t forget where the fuck youā€™re from. Youā€™re from Jacksonville, Florida. Youā€™re not from Los Angeles, fucking California. Youā€™re from Jacksonville. Youā€™re a real person. Youā€™re not the plastic, fucked-up people that live in fucking Los Angeles.ā€™

ā€œAnd for that ā€” for that ā€” for reminding my brother, one of the people that are responsible for me standing in front of you this evening, reminding my fucking brother where the fuck heā€™s fromā€¦ And now Iā€™m the biggest piece of shit to ever fucking walk the face of the earth. So, you know what?Ā Wes Borland, you bougie motherfucker, I give all the credit to this next song toĀ FredĀ [Durst]. Fuck you.ā€

So it seems like Lewis has his own version of the events.
