Periphery is currently working on their new album presumably titled Periphery IV: (Some Non-Sequitur Goes Here), and their first without bassist Adam "Nolly" Getgood since he joined and worked on 2012's Periphery II: This Time It's Personal.
We do know that the album will not be coming out on Sumerian Records, as the band have split with their longtime US label. Label head Ash Avildsen said in an interview that he believes the band will be self-releasing the album.
Periphery have made 10 and a half minutes of new riffs and ideas for the new album available in a compilation you can view below, as posted to YouTube by guitarist Misha Mansoor. Spoiler alert – it's all awesome and the hype is real now.
The clip also kicks off with that 20 second killer riff we've heard before, but the rest is new. No word on if that April Fools song will make it to the album either, but outside the silly vocals the riffs were actually really, really good.
