Not many Czech Republican metal artists come to mind (comment below if you know any!), but Et Moriemur has been serving up sweet atmospheric death/doom for the past decade. Vocalist/pianist ZdenÄ›k NevÄ›lĂk, guitarists AleÅ¡ Vilingr and Pavel JanouÅ¡kovec, bassist Karel KovĂ¡Å™Ăk, and drummer Michal "Datel" Rak recently released their third full-length, Epigrammata, earlier this year. In this release, the band also brought on board a choir, cellist, violinist, trombonist, and acoustic guitarist.
We're stoked to be presenting the third song off the LP, "Agnus Dei," which also features vocalist Nikos Vlachakis (Shattered Hope) and spoken word by Labrini Karousou and Vangelis Mertzanis. While the song itself is heavily emotional, the compelling animation that accompanies the music wraps it altogether in a cohesive manner that will have you glued to the story being expressed. If you want to hear more songs and order the record, click here, as well as other artists on the Transcending Obscurity label here.
