Garth Purkett had tickets to Ghost's recent show in Port Chester, NY, but work kept him overtime and he couldn't make it. Purkett says his day was pretty much crap overall up until his girlfriend asked him to Skype call her, where she made him laugh quite literally for five minutes straight.

i told my girlfriend that afternoon about the ticket/work debacle, and she was so deeply bummed for me because she knows how much i love Ghost. i appreciated her support and empathy, though it still stung for hours after.

when i finally finished work at 10 pm in a heap of exhaustion, she texted to see if we could facetime when i got home.
though i was certifiably dead, i gladly said yes.
