Pop rock star St. Vincent can definitely dig on some heavy metal. She previously gave shout outs to Metallica and Mayhem. In a recent interview with BBC Radio she talked of her love for Tool and Pantera.
St. Vincent was asked about her favorite riffs and kicked things off by playing the main riff of "Cowboys From Hell," one of her all-time favorites. Then, she broke into a cover of Tool's "Forty Six & 2," which she identified as "My Shadow," and did a very impressive job of singing and riffing at the same time. Take a look:

Perhaps, one of these days, Tool and St. Vincent will both be on some major festival and she can come out and sing with them. How cool would that be?
