The Golden Gods are over, and we certainly had a drunken good time. For everybody who couldn't make it out to Los Angeles for the event, a one hour recap will air on VH1 Classic in May. The downside is that some of the best parts of the show would be left out. This is where the magic of Youtube and fans who are not content with just watching the show comes in. Here is a collection of bootleg videos of all the best parts of the show:
First off, Sebastian Bach totally killed it, as Frank mentioned earlier, playing "Youth Gone Wild" with Asking Alexandria, but the best part of the performance came when not 20 seconds in, the singer drops the mic, it falls under the drum riser and he lunges faster than I've ever seen anybody move before to get the mic before his cue comes in. I could not stop laughing:

By the end of the night, I was incredibly hammered after drinking who knows how much vodka, and it was time for the headliners to come out: Aveneged Sevenfold. I was told Vinnie Paul was going to do some Pantera jamming with the guys, so we checked it out, and while waiting for Vinnie, we ended being blown away with how good their musicianship was. Seriously, these guys can play, and this is coming from a guy who once spent a good part of an hour debating why the band sucked with Doc Coyle of God Forbid. But I was converted. These guys were good. Then, they brought out some guests. First, Duff McKagan joined them to play Guns N Roses classic, "It's So Easy" and they killed it, and then Vinnie Paul came out and instead of going with the obvious choice of "Walk", they decided to play "Mouth for War", fuck yes! A much better choice!
