Daughters is one of the most chaotic bands I've ever heard and it's exciting to hear they are making a comeback.
While the band initially started out as an unadulterated grindcore project, they've since evolved their sound. It's on full display on their new single, "Satan in the Wait," their first new song in eight years. Frontman Alexis Marshall notes the song "is an indication of sorts…", which I assume to mean it gives an idea of the pacing of the new album. Take a listen:

The band have signed to Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings and are planning a release for later this year. The band have announced select shows to celebrate:
