Amsterdam based melo-death band, For I Am King, are firing on all cylinders for their upcoming album, I, set for release on December 7th via Redfield Records. A release I suspect you'll love if you're a fan of melodic heaviness and calculated rhythms, with a powerful woman behind the mic.
Today, we're excited to bring you one of those tracks, titled "Home", a song that really ties in their inviting brand of melo-death with emotionally charged heavy vocals, for one of many terrific experiences you'll find within the album.
"Home" focuses on their vocalist, Alma Alizadeh, and her experience fleeing Iran as a child to find her home in the Netherlands at 11 years old. She comments:
"People often forget that you can feel at home anywhere. This song is about our personal journeys in finding home: how to adapt to make yourself at home, and how we should take care of others that are in search of a home."
