Last week, Fire In The Mountains announced their first three acts to appear at next year's installment. The outdoor festival that takes place at the base of the Grand Tetons boasts breathtaking views and a unique, diverse lineup that compliments the setting. The first round of announcements featured Saor, The Ruins of Beverast, and Munly and the Lupercalians. The next three bands continue that trend of diverse musical acts.
Denver death metal giants, Blood Incantation, will look to turn the mountains into pyramids while Ohio's Osi and the Jupiter brings their ritualistic neofolk in a rare live appearance. Also joining the ranks are Seattle's soaring funeral doom act, Un, who are coming off one of the best doom albums of the year.
Even with only two announcements made so far, Fire In The Mountains is already shaping up to be a can't-miss event next year. Six excellent acts—all bringing very different music—projects this to be the best year yet. The festival returns July 13-14 at Heart Six Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming.
