On April 18, 2018, The Ghost Inside held their first band practice since their horrific 2015 bus crash. The band has been consistently been trying to come back ever since, but constant health-related issues related to the crash have kept them from doing so. One of the most heartbreaking setbacks was the band wanting to play Warped Tour 2017 or 2018's final Warped Tour (as a tour), but unfortunately weren't well enough to do so either time. Despite all this, The Ghost Inside has vowed to carry on.
While it's not "new" music, The Ghost Inside has taken to Twitch to share 25 seconds of a song called "Aftershock," which was recorded prior to the crash. Here's hoping the band decides to put out a demo compilation or b-sides compilation sometime this year to not only tide fans over as they patiently wait for new material, but maybe to help the group out with their medical bills.
