Tech death fans, get ready to be super psyched! As we've already mentioned, Blotted Science, the instrumetal tech-death trio featuring Ron Jarzombek, Cannibal Corpse's Alex Webster and Obscura's Hannes Grossmann, is putting out an album this year. We knew it was going to be called The Animation Of Entomology but we didn't know when we could finally hear it. UNTIL TODAY! The album will be released October 4th on Jarzombek's EclecticElectric label. There will be 24 minutes of new music, and just reading this description from the press release gets me incredibly excited:
Described as "a cross between Cannibal Corpse, Spastic Ink and a Bugs Bunny cartoon," "The Animation Of Entomology" takes Jarzombek's fascination with animated cartoons and creepy crawlies to a whole new level. Having experimented with writing complex pieces of music to sync up with movie sequences in the past with his previous outfit Spastic Ink, the concept has now been applied to Blotted Science over the course of seven songs and a total of 24 minutes of music.
Yes. YES! YES! This rocks! What can be better than this? How about a new two minute teaser. No! No!! No!!! Don't stop-a-rockin'!
