All That Remains guitarist Oli Herbert passed away at 44 years old in October, by drowning in a lake behind his home that was "inches deep" according to the Currant's viewing of police records. The case is still unresolved, with police investigating the death as suspicious. People close to Oli have been searching for answers, with conspiracies being thrown around about possible causes of death.
Regardless of the circumstances of his death, Herbert was a prolific songwriter and one of the songs he recorded before his death has now surfaced. It's a cover with the Eurythmics classic "Here Comes The Rain Again."
The track was recorded with Moroni Silva of the band A Dead Desire who told MetalSucks “Oli was a good friend and wanted to release the song at the start of the rain season, so it was released on the New Moon of the 5th of this month and dedicated to him. I loved the way he did the guitar and when we added the cello and vocals, he couldn’t wait to release it,” Moroni adds. “It was his idea to do the cover song when we jammed together in Vegas,” referring to a performance at the 2017 Rock Radio Convention and Awards at which A Dead Desire opened for All That Remains.

Sadly, this has already caused some controversy with Oli's widow, Beth, who posted the following on Oli's official Facebook page, which we screenshotted because we presume it will be eventually deleted:
