TOXIC HOLOCAUST Reverts To Solo Project, First New Album Since 2013 Due This Year

Out on eOne.

joel-grind

Toxic Holocaust began as the solo project of frontman Joel Grind in 1999 and became a full-fledged band in 2008. We last heard from Toxic Holocaust in 2013 via the Chemistry of Consciousness record, but it turns out that's not the last we'd ever hear from the band.

Toxic Holocaust returns as the solo project of Joel Grind once more, now signed to eOne, and according to Grind will release a new record in 2019.

"New releases saw Toxic signing with a few noteworthy labels, touring, and spreading the music around the world. After various lineups and incarnations throughout the years, I have decided to come full circle for this 20th-anniversary era and release an album going back to solo project roots. This new album features me playing and recording everything just like the early days. Prepare for the next chapter."

Nothing concrete has been announced about the new record just yet, but Grind says the new album is finished and it's coming "later this year."
