As we await a new Pallbearer record, the band has teamed up with the Sub Pop Records Singles Club for a new song called "Atlantis". Pallbearer says the song was specifically written for the singles club. "Atlantis" is a 7" with the b-side being a live version of their song "Thorns". You can stream both below.
Thanks to the Sub Pop Records Singles Club, we were thrilled to have the chance to write a brand new song, ‘Atlantis,’ streaming now along with a live version of ‘Thorns,’ a song from our previous LP that took on a different attitude after being roadworn for a couple of years.
As many of you probably know by now, Pallbearer has always been very “album-oriented” — when we are writing music, it’s often with the big picture in mind. However, we also thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to release pieces that might not necessarily fit into a larger album. We’re very excited to finally be able to share another piece of new material with you.
