Suicide Silence guitarist Mark Heylmun went on what was dubbed a "radical sabbatical" from the band in 2018, though he promised he'd return at some point. Suicide Silence has released both a live album and a rarities collection since then, but are now getting back into gear for their first new record since their controversial self-titled album in 2017.
According to the band, Heylmun is back full-time and they'll be premiering some new material on their Latin America tour this November. Darkest Hour guitarist Mike "Lonestar" Carrigan filled in for Heylmun during his absence.
