What a crazy way to kick off the New Year. We are not even seven days in and already two bands have announced their end, and one replaced their iconic singer. Some other stuff happened as well. Here's what you missed:
The biggest story of the week was Howard Jones leaving Killswitch Engage. There was much speculation as to why, but earlier today, Jones issued an official statement citing medical issues and just being "over it."
This week, The Human Abstract announced they are over as a band, and Oceano said they will be done in a few months themselves. Happy New Year!
We got to hang out with Steel Panther and shot a hilarious interview with Stix and Lexxi. Also, the band hung with Kevin Bacon. No bigs.
Meshuggah announced the release date for their upcoming album, and all is right with the world.
Actor Ryan Gosling may or may not have been at an American Nightmare reunion show.
