The metal world let out a collective "Woohoo" when it was announced that Jesse Leach was officially rejoining Killswitch Engage. Now that question of who the vocalist is has been answered, the new question has become: What will the new music sound like? Well, Leech was recently interviewed by 36 Crazyfists frontman Brock Lindow on his Anchorage, AK based radio show "Brock And The Fat Guy" (srsly?) and here is what he had to say:
“I have the 14 demos for the new Killswitch record, and let me tell you…I’m glad that they didn’t turn into Times Of Grace, and I’m glad that Killswitch is gonna have the opportunity to write another record with me — or a few more, God willing,” Jesse said.
“I can tell you right now from the demos, the people are gonna be really surprised; they’re setting the bar up high once again I’m literally within day three of just listening to them and just sort of digesting them. It’s really fast and it’s really heavy. It’s not what people are going to anticipate, I’m sure. I literally am getting chills right now talking about it. It’s gonna blow the doors off people, man. It’s gonna be great.”
Well, he's saying absolutely all the right things to get me super excited about this release. I assume we'll be getting this album sometime during the summer, or possibly the fall. Are you excited about this?
