It's Thursday, which means the weekend is so close I can smell it. While I patiently wait for it, here are some new tunes:

God Forbid have posted the above video teasing the track "Cornered" and it's pretty solid GF songwriting from the snippet I can hear. Sounds like a winner, and I'll definitely be checking out Equilibrium when it hits stores on March 26th.
Torche are set to put out a new album, Harmonicraft on April 24th via Volcom Entertainment and have released the first single, "Kicking" on Pitchfork. It's not a bad track, but to me, Torche is a different band than they were, say, 5 years ago. They used to be so much heavier. Now their focus is more on being catchy, and while still pretty good, it's not the Torche I fell in love with at CBGBs when they blew out my eardrums.
Speaking of doom, check out the new band Chrome Waves It features The Atlas Moth vocalist/guitarist Stavros Giannopoulos, ex-Nachtmystium guitarist Jeff Wilson and drummer Bob Fouts from The Gates of Slumber. They posted a new track on Soundcloud, "That Cursed Armored Train" which you should check out if you like any of those bands.
If you're a fan of thick riffs, chant-a-longs and a good time, check out "Everyone's A Friend" by Black God streaming at Decibel's site.
Let's end this A/V roundup by getting in the pit with E-Town Concrete. They posted a new track, "Someone Tell Him".
