Ukrainian metalcore act Space of Variations is being heralded as the next big thing from Eastern Europe, following in the footsteps of bands like Jinjer, 1914 and White Ward.
The band recently inked a deal with Napalm Records and released a new music video for the track "Slowmo," filmed during their most recent European tour with Jinjer, The Agonist and Khroma.
Creatively blending the heart-pumping elements of metalcore with beautiful melody, electronica and even a bit of hip hop, "Slowmo" is one for the ages. If you're into bands like Architects and The Devil Wears Prada, listen to this band right now.
"For us, the video 'Slowmo' is more like a memory book than a video," says the band. "We filmed it on tour last year with Jinjer, where we embarked on our longest tour ever, meeting old friends and making new ones in new cities and countries across Europe every day. Although each day seemed like a blur – these memories will stay burned in our hearts for a lifetime- and if we should forget them, the ”Slowmo” video will be there to remind us…"
Space of Variations is releasing XXXXX on March 6 via Napalm Records, which is available for pre-order here. You can also follow the band on Facebook via this link.
