Havok is back after three years with a new album and a new bassist. Havok will release their first album in three years V on May 1 with bassist Brandon Bruce replacing Nick Schendzielos (Cephalic Carnage, Job for a Cowboy). V was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder) and given artwork by Eliran Kantor (Testament, Hatebreed, Bloodbath).
Here's what Havok guitarist and vocalist David Sanchez had to say about the record.
"A lot of experimentation went into the writing and recording of V. The album offers the same intensity that we’re known for, but with a few twists that may surprise people. The music is dense with lots of different intertwining parts and we’re beyond excited to release our best-sounding record to date."
Check out the artwork below, as well as a short movie about inducting Bruce into the band (which is really funny). Expect a single and pre-orders soon.
