We sincerely hope you have been following our 5 part "Decade In Metal" series on our new show ON THE RECORD. Everybody on the internet is talking about it. Yesterday, we premiered an episode about "Women In Metal" and it caused quite the stir with some of the females featured in the piece. Above, you can see Otep Shamaya's response, but things got really interesting once Lacuna Coil frontwoman Cristina Scabbia watched the piece:
Cristina was referring to a joke Axl Rosenberg made during the piece, where he asked if anybody could name another member of Lacuna Coil, then adding "I think there is a Mario in there." I alerted Axl of Miss Scabbia's retort and he tweeted this:
Axl was indeed right. Mario is the fourth most popular name in Italy. Showing that she has a sense of humor about the situation, Miss Scabbia then responded with this:
The ultimate zinger came from Arch Enemy frontwoman Angela Gossow, who chimed in after all the comedic exchanges with this tweet:
Can't argue with that. Guitarist Michael Ammot is as popular, if not more popular than Gossow herself. Finally, Otep chimed in one last time…
