OZZY OSBOURNE Isn't Interested in Doing Another BLACK SABBATH Show

black sabbath

Black Sabbath called it quits in 2017 after an extensive farewell tour that ended in the band's hometown of Birmingham. Since then, members of the band have weighed in on potentially doing a one-off show. Bassist Geezer Butler said he's fine with not doing anything else, while Ozzy has said maybe there should be one final gig with drummer Bill Ward back in the band. Even guitarist Tony Iommi said he'd be down!

But now in an interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy has revealed that he's actually not interested at all. So unless you saw the band in 2017, maybe don't hold your breath.

"Not for me. It's done. The only thing I do regret is not doing the last farewell show in Birmingham with Bill Ward. I felt really bad about that. It would have been so nice. I don't know what the circumstances behind it were, but it would have been nice.

"I've talked to [guitarist Tony Iommi] a few times, but I don't have any of the slightest interest in [doing another gig]. Maybe Tony's getting bored now."

Though Black Sabbath has played "final shows" before the 2017 one, so who knows. Maybe the band will come around and do a string of one-off festival headliners in the future.
