SLUGDGE Vocalist Still Suffering From COVID-19 Symptoms Months Later

Unfortunately we're still finding out about the long-term effects of COVID-19 on survivors of the disease. One such case of someone still suffering despite having been diagnosed in March and given the all-clear is Slugdge vocalist Matt Moss. Band drummer Alan Cassidy took to Twitter to let everyone know that Moss is still dealing with health problems, and to reiterate that COVID-19 is not a joke.

According to the Mayo Clinic, some known long-term effects of COVID-19 include permanent heart damage, scarring of the lungs, and even raise your risk for neurological diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

A report by The City reports: "Patients that come in report brain fog, shortness of breath, trouble thinking, trouble speaking, fevers and chronic fatigue. The overall effect is debilitating. One 'long hauler' said 'she’d walk too far and need to rest for three days.'"

So maybe just wear your mask out in public and be safe, unless you're all about living a life of potential suffering.
