Bring Me The Horizon have teased a new song, and today they delivered "Teardrops." The song has its fair share of heavy moments, and also some catchy earworm hooks the band has been known for in recent years.
My favorite part is the way frontman Oli Sykes says "everything is so fooked" – he's right, you know.
Oli recently told Kerrang! “I wasn’t feeling any better [about the world since lockdown] and I was like, ‘That’s why I was writing about this stuff in the first place.’ I was worried about it, it was scaring me, I needed to process it. My main way of processing stuff these days is writing songs and lyrics and getting it out. I did a 180 and thought, ‘If it feels uncomfortable to talk about it that probably means I’m talking about something important.’"
The track will be on the band's next album, Post Human: Survival Horror which is out on October 30th.
The official music video is premiering any minute now:
There will be guest appearances from Evanescence's Amy Lee, Babymetal, Yungblud and Nova Twins.
BMTH have already released three singles this year, which will appear on the album. The singles are “Ludens,” “Parasite Eve” and “Obey."
The band have been posting tons of teasers for the new album in recent weeks.
