I'm loving the new Baroness album, Yellow & Green. I've had it in regular rotation for a few weeks now, and it gets better and better. It's a great album. One of the highlights of the album is certainly an early track, "March To The Sea." Clearly, Baroness feel the same way, as they have made the track available for streaming over at Pitchfork. It's safe to say Baroness are no longer a metal band, but have transcended into hard rock, if not pop rock. Their songs are catchy as fuck and their melodies are really pretty. Some have labelled them "girlfriend metal" and if their live show is any evidence, that is definitely not a bad thing!
Yellow & Green comes out July 17th on Relapse Records.
