System of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian has released a new music video for his North Kingsley project, which also features a guest spot from the legendary RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Shavo's collaborator, North Kingsley frontman and lyricist Ray Hawthorne says “We, as individuals, empower and idolize people who care for their own interests above ours. We need to recognize that. We need to look at things from all angles, and decide on our own what we agree and disagree with. We can’t continue to fall in line with the false idols that we bring upon ourselves. They’re coming from more places than you may think.”
North Kingsley's second three-track EP, Vol 2, came out this past Friday, with Vol 1 released a few months back in August.
