Megaforce Records co-founder Marsha Zazula has passed away at 68 years old. The label confirmed Marsha's passing, saying "The world of music owes a debt of gratitude to Marsha Zazula, who along with her husband Jon gave birth to some of the most musically significant artists. Marsha was one of a kind and taught the world to be fiercely independent. In our hearts, she’ll always be a guiding force."
Metal might not be what it is today without Marsha and John Zazula, and their Megaforce Records. Among the label's releases are early and debut albums from Metallica, Anthrax, Overkill, Testament, and Ministry.
So thanks for everything, Marsha. You're a legend.
