I spent perhaps hundreds of dollars in quarters playing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game as a kid over many summers, as well as its Simpsons counterpart years later, and now it looks like the game is being reborn for a new generation with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and it has a metal edge to it.
The metal edge comes in the form of Mike Patton singing the theme song for the game which reimagines the classic arcade for modern audiences on PC.
Patton said of his collaboration “Working on TMNT was pure pleasure. I channeled my inner ninja spirit to deliver a track worthy of my half-shell brothers! it was an honor to serve them…and finally I made some music my nieces can enjoy!”
A release date has yet to be announced but you can see a gameplay teaser below.
