Decibel will publish their 200th issue in June 2021, and they're celebrating with something pretty special! The magazine has announced their totally free Decibel’s 200th Issue Show Extremely Ex-Stream to take place on April 30 at 8PM EST. The show will feature performances from Midnight, Khemmis, Full of Hell, Horrendous, Wake, and a ton of special guests that are currently a secret!

"If you look at the spine of the very first issue of Decibel, you’ll see it’s labeled as 'issue No. 001," which was fully intentional," said said Albert Mudrian, Editor in Chief of Decibel. "One of my original goals was to eventually publish 100 issues of Decibel. While those first 100 magazines flew by, the pace at which we delivered the next 100 seemed to somehow accelerate beyond that.

"I’m sure adulthood and parenting—not to mention working on our tour, running our fests, publishing our books, releasing our flexi series and running a website parallel with the magazine—has made the experience of these most recent 100 a bit of a blur.

"That’s part of the reason we’re hosting this free 200th Issue Show stream. It’s essential to occasionally take a breath and recognize significant milestones, so every 100 issues, we’ll let what’s left of our hair down and process what we’ve accomplished but, more importantly, refocus on the next barrier to obliterate."

Tune in two hours early and catch a special pre-show viewing of Decibel’s 100th Issue Show: The Movie from 2013. Which is also free, so there's really no excuse for you not to be there.
