DEFTONES Play Two New Songs Live; Video Bootlegs Available

Are Deftones done with recording their new album? We know they've been in the studio, and over the weekend, the band kicked off a brief run of dates, which will include a few with System Of A Down. On Saturday, the band played a warm-up show in their home town at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Seeing as they are playing shows for the first time since writing their new record, the band decided to test out some material. Chino and company performed the heavier "Roller Derby" and the lighter "Rosemary," giving fans a taste of the range of their upcoming release. Of course, there is video of this. Check 'em out:

Deftones frontman Chino Moreno stated he hoped for an October release of the new record.
