Nirvana's 1991 classic album Nevermind turns 30 on September 24, and the band is celebrating with a massive reissue of the album. Aside from the standard versions of the newly-remastered Nevermind, there's a 5CD version containing four unreleased live shows played in both 1991 and 1992. They are:
- Live In Amsterdam, Netherlands, recorded and filmed on November 25, 1991 at Paradiso
- Live In Del Mar, California, recorded on December 28, 1991 at the Pat O'Brien Pavilion at the Del Mar Fairgrounds
- Live in Melbourne, Australia For Triple J, recorded February 1, 1992 at The Palace in St. Kilda
- Live In Tokyo, Japan, recorded at the Nakano Sunplaza on February 19, 1992
There's also an 8LP box set featuring all the aforementioned, plus a 7" with "Endless, Nameless", "Even In His Youth", and "Aneurysm". All versions of the reissue are available here and will begin shipping on November 12.
Since its release, Nevermind has achieved the Recording Industry Association of America's (RIAA) Diamond status after selling over 10 million copies in the United States. The album has also sold over one million copies in France, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
