Countdown To Extinction, one of my favorite Megadeth records turns 20 this year, and Dave Mustaine is ready to celebrate. On November 6th, the album will be re-released as a 2CD lift-top box, including the original CD remastered, audio of a 1992 concert, recorded live at San Francisco's Cow Palace, new liner notes and a collectible poster.
The band have also announced a US tour, where they will be playing the album in it's entirety. I assume they'll play some other hits as well. Joining Megadeth on the tour, will be upstart southern rockers Kyng. Here are the dates:
