UPDATE: The tease was for a new Ghost song called "Hunter's Moon" off the Halloween Kills soundtrack. Check it out here.
Ghost has been livestreaming a new video titled "[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY]" ever since September 26. The stream is mostly the footage you see below, interspersed about every 24 hours with what looks like footage from a coming music video. So far Redditors on the Ghost subreddit have captured images of a man standing in a field, and what looks like a woman drowning.
The description of the video is "We wish to inform you ?," which I'm assuming is an emoji of a New Moon. The next New Moon is on October 6, so it might be safe to bet that there's an announcement coming then.
It's worth noting that Ghost will kick off an arena tour with Volbeat on January 25, 2022. Which would be insane to do unless there was a new album being promoted, right? Get the dates below and expect an announcement from Ghost regarding (what's probably) a new album very soon. All we know about the new stuff right now is that Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge wants it to the band's version of Metallica's The Black Album, and that it won't have any fast songs.
