The biggest story of the week in metal, which has crossed over to mainstream attention is the headlines New York collective Brass Against made for their Welcome To Rockville performance after frontwoman Sophia Urista peed on a fan's face on stage. Now, police are getting involved to make sure nothing illegal happened.
During their performance, Urista kept saying she really had to use the bathroom during the show and eventually had a fan volunteer come up on stage to… accept her urine. You can see the shocking footage here.
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, the local Daytona Beach Police received a complaint via their Facebook page over the incident. An official report was filed and the criminal investigation division is now looking into the event.
Urista faces a potential $1,000 fine and up to a year in jail.
Florida laws state it is illegal to "expose his or her sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner."
Brass Against have apologized for the incident saying "Sophia got carried away. That's not something the rest of us expected, and it's not something you'll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona."
