Caliban is back with a brand new single "Ascent Of The Blessed" and a new album called Dystopia due out later this year. "Ascent Of The Blessed" is a hooky, heavy metalcore jam that spans everything crushing breakdowns to quiet electronic interludes. The video for the song was directed by Daniel Prieß.
"This song is inspired by my imagination of a near-death-experience and the question about my life," said vocalist Andreas Dörner. "It's about the question if one is a good or an evil person."
Dystopia was produced by from Benjamin Richter (Moonspell), Emil Bulls, Callan Orr (Dream On, Dreamer) and Caliban guitarist Marc Görtz. Stream "Ascent Of The Blessed" here.
