Gwar will hit the road this May with Crowbar, The Native Howl, and Nekrogoblikon. The tour is about a month ahead of the new Gwar record The New Dark Ages.
"Ah, the cruel spring, when life bursts forth and humans are reminded how dead they are inside!" said vocalist Blothar The Berserker. "The horrific majesty of Gwar will blow through your town like painted ladies working the block for that rock."
Gwar will release their new album The New Dark Ages on June 3 on CD and digital streaming services (and September 16 on vinyl and cassette) via their own Pit Records. The album is tied directly to a graphic novel called Gwar In The Duoverse Of Absurdity, whose plot deals with Gwar being "sucked off into an alternate universe to do battle with their evil twins and the specter of rogue technology."
