Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland will join the legendary Danny Elfman for his two performances at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival later this month. Borland joined Elfman's band as guitarist Robin Finck had to drop off due to Nine Inch Nails commitments.
The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival will take place in Indio, CA between April 15 and 17, and again on April 22 to 24.
"Déjà Vu! Big time!" said Elfman. "I can’t believe it’s been two years since we rehearsed for Coachella, but I couldn’t be more excited to perform with this amazing group of musicians. Between then and now I went and made a Big Mess, but it’s all coming together nicely, the way it was meant to be.
"Excited to announce the Elfband lineup for Coachella: Josh Freese on drums, Stu Brooks on bass, Nili Brosh and Wes Borland on guitars. Boingo, Batman, Big Mess and Beyond, here we go, look forward to seeing you all there!"
"I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing in @dannyelfman's band at both weekends of Coachella along with @stubassiebrooks @nilibrosh and my favorite comedian @joshfreese!!!" added Borland. "Thanks to @robinfinck for recommending me as he was unable to play due to @nineinchnails commitments! This is an absolute honor and dream come true! See you at @coachella!!"
