The GRAMMY award ceremony aired last night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The ceremony included an on-air In Memoriam segment to remember all the lives lost throughout the music industry. The segment included tributes to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill, The Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, and the prolific solo artist (and man of many bands) Mark Lanegan.
While the GRAMMYs does provide an extensive In Memoriam segment on their website, the ceremony's televised portion did not include former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison or Megaforce Records' founder and industry titan Jon Zazula.
