Caledonian black metal unit Saor is now streaming their new single "Beyond The Wall." The single is a perfectly atmospheric track that marries folky instrumentation with melodic black metal, and tops things off big a huge choral ending. The single comes alongside a music video directed by Guilherme Henriques.
"'Beyond the Wall' refers to the Antonine Wall which ran across the central belt of Scotland to keep the Caledonians/Picts at bay," said Saor mastermind Andy Marshall. "The song is about their freedom, as they were not under Roman rule and the beauty and mystery of the lands beyond the wall."
