OV SULFUR Debut Video For New Track "Wide Open"

The band just signed to Century Media Records last month.

Las Vegas deathcore grinders Ov Sulfur have debuted the video for their latest single "Wide Open." Ov Sulfur are fronted by Ricky Hoover (Suffokate) and just last month they announced they'd signed with Century Media. You can check the video out above

The quick editing style adds a layer of paranoia to the video for "Wide Open," as the track issues pummeling breakneck beats and a guttural vocal meshed with a melodic accent. Which means in addition to watching the video, you need to save this song in your library right now. You can find your way to the track on a DSP of your liking by clicking here.

About the track, the band says "We're excited to open your eyes (and ears) to the new chapter of Ov Sulfur. The song features some INSANE growls and shrieks from Ricky, which show just how far he's come since his time in Suffokate. The music is similarly elevated, with the three (3!) breakdowns outdoing anything we've done before yet the chorus and dual solo bring some much-needed melody to the proceedings. Yes, at the risk of sounding like a cliché (I mean, we are a metal band who hates religion…), it's our heaviest yet most melodic track yet. Speaking of hating religion, this song is about waking up, pulling the veil from over your eyes and leaving the false faith in the past."

Ov Sulfur, among several others, will be hitting the road with As I Lay Dying on tour this summer. You can find those dates below.
