AS I LAY DYING Drummer To Sit Out Tour Due To "Ongoing Internal Issues" Within The Band

"It was my wish to avoid any further touring until these issues were resolved."

Jordan Mancino

UPDATE: As I Lay Dying has recruited Nick Pierce for their tour. The original story is as follows.

As I Lay Dying has been having a rough go of things lately, starting with bassist Josh Gilbert recently quitting. As I Lay Dying announced Miss May I bassist and vocalist Ryan Neff as his fill-in alongside Unearth guitarist Ken Susi holding down the second guitar position. Now drummer Jordan Mancino has announced he'll be sitting out their upcoming tour due to unspecified issues within the band.

"To all of our fans, my friends, family and supporters within the industry," said Mancino. "There have been a number of ongoing internal issues with As I Lay Dying that need to be worked out. It was my wish to avoid any further touring until these issues were resolved.

"Since they have not yet been resolved, it is with a heavy heart that I announce I will not be performing on any upcoming tour dates until further notice. Thanks to all of you for your understanding."

No replacement drummer for As I Lay Dying has yet been announced. The next shows As I Lay Dying start tomorrow with Whitechapel and Shadow Of Intent, so… they gotta get this figured out.
