OCEANS OF SLUMBER Shares Alluring Cover Of "House Of The Rising Sun"

Oceans of Slumber have released a cover of the hit '60s rock track "House of The Rising Sun," the traditional folk song made famous by English group The Animals. The cover will appear on the southern gothic prog-metal band's forthcoming LP Starlight And Ash due July 22 via Century Media. You can stream the track below.

It's been a busy spring for Oceans of Slumber, leading up to the eminent release of Starlight and Ash. Since February, the band has released three singles from the album, ranging from the moody "Hearts of Stone" to the catchy drive of "The Waters Rising," to the frenzied emotion of "The Lighthouse."

For those looking to catch the band in all their majesty on the road this year, The Lighthouse East Tour, a late-summer trek has been booked, kicking off in the band's homebase of Houston on August 27.
