After what seems like years of waiting and ages worth of silence, Shai Hulud are finally back and about to release a new album in 2013. Information is all-of-a-sudden pouring out from the Metal Blade camp as we now know the new album will be called Reach Beyond The Sun and it will be scheduled for a February 19th release date. From what Metal Injection is being told, brand new full length tracks as well as pre-orders will be available on December 10th but if you can't wait that long we have a teaser video for you right after the jump

New Found Glory guitarist, Chad Gilbert, not only produced the album be he also returned to sing on this album, something that has not happened since Shai Hulud's debut LP Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion – his first offering of recorded vocals with the band in over a decade.
Longtime bass player Mad Matt Fletcher asserts, "Anyone who really knows the band will agree this album is our definitive sound, encompassing all of our different influences and styles."
