One of my personal favorites in the metal realm, Cynic have entered the recording studio today (Dec. 11th) according to Blabbermouth. That's pretty exciting news for this prog-metal dork.
We last heard about the album in September, where the band said they had so much inspiration they delayed entering the studio so that they could finish writing.
Which begs the question, how much new music will we get from Cynic? When I interviewed them last year, they were opened to releasing more EPs more often, so could that be the route they deliver the music with, or are they going to aim for a full length?
