This story is pretty cool, and it involves Dave Mustaine, a rarity for this site.
Dave Mustaine recently tweeted that a new species of tarantula was found in the Arizona/New Mexico area, and named after the thrash shredder, being called Aphonopelma Davemustainei.

The tarantula is hairy and a very large arachnid belonging to the Theraphosidae family of spiders, one of 850 tarantula species in the world, which is not even 1/3rd of the amount of tarantulas out in the wild.
No word on this spider's feelings on Barack Obama's current presidency.
