Every year it seems like it'll be easy to pick the best albums that came out. Then all of a sudden it's November and you're sifting through a list of 40-something titles, trying to figure out which ones you can bear to cut. As always, 2022 was loaded to the brim with phenomenal metal… but for the sake of brevity, we've chosen our 20 favorites!
