Glass Casket has signed to Silent Pendulum Records and is plotting their first new record since Desperate Man's Diary in 2006. The news comes from Silent Pendulum Records founder and CEO Michael Kadnar in a brief video update. There's not much more to it, but hey – we're finally getting that Glass Casket album we've been promised a few times over the years.
"Glass Casket will be joining Silent Pendulum with their first new album in 17 years, and we have the license to their first two records We Are Gathered Here Today and Desperate Man's Diary," said Kadnar. "More info on colors quantities and release date coming soon."
Glass Casket originally tried to reform in 2014 with Wes Hauch on guitar, and then there was a rumor that there would be new music in 2020. Obviously neither of which has happened.
All we know is that during the 2020 rumor, Glass Casket's lineup was reportedly vocalist Adam Cody (Wretched, Columns), Between The Buried And Me guitarist Dustie Waring and drummer Blake Richardson, bassist Sid Menon, and guitarist Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless, ex-Black Crown Initiate). No word on what it is now, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.
