Vio-Lence drummer Perry Strickland has quit the band. Strickland broke the news on Instagram with a video of himself playing with the band, caption with "I’'l Miss playing these songs!" Former Vio-lence guitarist Bobby Gustafson commented on the post as well, saying "Good luck with what ever you do in the future. We had some good times finally."
When asked by a fan to explain the situation, Strickland only responded that he left about a month ago. It's not clear who will play drums with Vio-lence moving forward, though I'd imagine we'll find out soon enough given the band is slated to play at the Milwaukee Metal Festival this May.
Strickland is a founding member of Vio-Lence and performed on all three of the band's full length records, as well as the 2022 comeback EP Let The World Burn.
