And in addition to the tour dates, Converge is working on new music! Drummer Ben Koller took to Instagram to reveal that Converge has begun working on the follow-up to their 2017 album The Dusk In Us (or their collaborative 2021 album Bloodmoon: I, depending on how you're keeping track). Better yet, it'll feature potentially "the heaviest riff of our career." So that rules.
"Converge may have just written the heaviest riff of our career. Bunch of new songs in the slow cooker. Smelling real good so far. Rehearsal was about 10x better this time around thanks to my 3 new favorite toys: Tama Drums birch/walnut kit, Liquid Death, SJC Custom Drums snare, Yamaha Music EAD10."
