ARTILLERY Drummer JOSUA MADSEN Dies After Getting Hit By A Bus

Longtime Artillery drummer Josua Madsen has passed away at 45 years old.

Madsen was sadly struck by a bus on a road between Copenhagen and Roskilde. Madsen played with Artillery between 2012 and 2023, and had left the band earlier this year. According to SN.dk, Madsen was coming home from practice with a new band when he was hit. We wish Madsen's friends and family all the best at this time. Artillery has since commented on Madsen's death.

"Dear friends, fans, and family," wrote the band. "Today we awoke to the tragic news of the passing of our dear friend and bandmate Josua.

"Dear Josua. For the last ten years, you have been a part of our extended family. We have played, fought, laughed, and cried together and looked to the future alongside appreciating our now. You had a kind spirit and a big heart.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with your son and family. We wish you peace and joy on your journey. Take care friend, and rock on, wherever you are."
